Using the tool to change the strings on your Ganesha
We have created a tool to help you change the strings on your Ganesha. As you need to fasten the bass string pretty hard in your string blocker, with the hex key, the piece of hardware could wander slightly under the pressure of the hex key fastening. In order to avoid that, we have created a tool that allows you to keep the string blocker straight while you fasten your bass string.

Here you have the tool, with a notch on the side and a hole at its end. The hole allows it to surround the string blocker on which you are exercising the fastening force, while the side notch allows your tool to keep totally straight while pushing against the next string blocker during the process.

An illustration to show you how best to grasp tool and hex key to fasten your strings. If you are left handed, and if ever you order a left handed Cortex, we will make a modified tool just for you.

If the use of this tool still isn’t clear to you, do not hesitate to e-mail us or to call us before using the tool. It would be very surprising to inflict oneself or the bass any damage by the use of this tool (if you follow its purpose, of course), but in case of doubt, please do contact us.
