A New Design by Cédric Vichard

Based on our Cortex Napoleon Standard  model, we have asked our good friend and artist Cédric Vichard to give us his interpretation of the Cortex Bass. “Arabian Nights” is his first interpretation, to be followed by a second piece in a few days. The dressing of body and headstock use FullMetal^© Lacquers, an area of expertise for Cédric.

“Arabian Nights” is a fretted 6 string bass, with a red willow body, a maple neck and a rosewood fret board. It is equipped with active electronics, namely two Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups served by a 3 band Glockenklang preamp. You can check out all details in our web shop.
